AFP BOARD TRAINING The AFP Past Presidents recently revised the AFP Board Training as a complimentary service to local nonprofits. The presentation is approximately 45 minutes long and focuses specifically on Board responsibilities. Listservs at Your Service! There are a number of mailing lists-or what's known as listservs-to which nonprofit professionals can subscribe to and receive peer-based feedback on a variety of issues.
Here's how it works: Pick the discussion group(s) that you are interested in and sign up by e-mail. You then join the online discussion, which is delivered by individual e-mail right to your inbox. Members of the listserv pose questions, answers, and general comments relevant to the list's focus.
